Plagioclase (Greek klasis, cleavage) is a form of feldspar, whose crystals exhibit two cleavages at an oblique angle; plagiocephaly (Greek kephalē, head) is a congenital distortion or lack of symmetry in the shape of the head; a plant exhibits plagiotropism when a part of it becomes aligned at an angle to the stimulus, usually at an angle to the vertical.
