A nonagon is a plane figure with nine straight sides and nine angles; a nonet is a group of nine people or things, especially musicians; nonane is a hydrocarbon of the alkane series with nine carbon atoms; in the Roman Catholic church a novena is a form of worship consisting of special prayers or services on nine successive days.
