This form occurs in only a few terms and is mainly used in the linguistic terms Finno-Ugric and Finno-Ugrian, which relate to the group of Uralic languages of which Finnish and Hungarian are important members. The Fenno‑ form appears in Fennoscandia, a land mass in NW Europe comprising Finland, Scandinavia, and the adjacent area of NE Russia, for which the related adjectives are Fennoscandian and Fennoscandinavian.
