The ulna.
[Latin ulna, plus -o-.]
The ulna is the thinner and longer of the two bones in the human forearm; terms in ulno- refer to the ulna plus another part of the arm, as in ulnocarpal, of the ulna plus the carpus bones of the wrist; ulnoradial, of the ulna plus the radius, the other long bone of the forearm; ulnohumeral, of the ulna plus the humerus, the bone of the upper arm. These terms sometimes appear hyphenated.
