A logotype is a single piece of type that prints a word or group of separate letters, or an emblem or logo (its abbreviated form); logopaedics (US logopedics) is speech therapy and the study of defects and disabilities of speech; somebody who is logocentric regards words and language as a fundamental expression of an external reality; a logogram is a sign or character representing a word or phrase, such as those used in shorthand and some ancient writing systems.
