iatro-
A physician or medical treatment.
[Greek iatros, physician.]
The only common term here is iatrogenic, relating to illness caused by medical examination or treatment. Iatrochemistry is a school of thought of the 16th and 17th centuries which sought to understand medicine and physiology in terms of chemistry; iatrology is a rare term for the science of medicine.
