Glaciers.
[Latin glacies, ice.]
Glaciology is the study of the internal dynamics and effects of glaciers; glaciofluvial (Latin fluvius, river), less commonly fluvioglacial, refers to the action of streams that originate in glacial ice; glacioeustatic denotes changes in sea level (eustasy) caused by changes in the size of ice sheets (this also appears hyphenated).
