A disorder of the skin.

Examples include leucoderma (Greek leukos, white), another name for vitiligo, in which whitish patches form on the skin; pyoderma (Greek puon, pus), a skin infection with formation of pus; scleroderma (Greek sklēros, hard), a chronic hardening and contraction of the skin and connective tissue; xeroderma (Greek xēros, dry), any disease in which the skin becomes very dry.
