River.
Latin fluvius, river.
The general adjective relating to rivers is fluvial; something associated with or formed by rivers is fluviatile. In geology, fluvioglacial refers to meltwater streams that flow from glaciers, and to the erosion or deposition they cause; similarly, fluviolacustrine (Latin lacus, lake) refers to sediments caused by both rivers and lakes.
